Sometimes luck has a hand in it too…..one way or another. Keep your chins up and keep pushing as its early days and a hell of a lot is still too happen before the chequered flag! Respect Dirk for admitting responsibility for the error but it can, and usually does, happen to most if not all at the Dakar at some stage or another.
