There are always so many good details from inside the car. Without these phone calls we are left to speculate, using only the Iritating-track replays and various press quotes and still photos. I wonder if in the future, Dakar competitors can have live microphone and webcam in the car, broadcast over internet via Satphone transmitter, with solar cell battery charger on top of the car. The technology is there to do so. Maybe the team, or Robby, can bring on a technology partner/sponsor next year to provide it and cover the cost. Of course the transmission would be available also at this blog. We could experience Dakar like never ever before, with total immersion. Ah, we can dream.

Tja, der Touareg ist halt ein VW, der läuft und läuft und läuft 😉
