Die Autos erreichen den ersten Checkpoint (101km): Nani Roma liegt in Führung. Hauchdünne sechs Sekunden dahinter VW-Pilot Mark Miller (VW). Dritter ist Al Attiyah (+0.43 Min), gefolgt von Peterhansel (+0.49 Min.) Jutta Kleinschmidt liegt gut im Rennen und passiert den ersten Checkpoint als Fünfte. Ihr Rückstand auf Roma: 1 Minute und 13 Sekunden. Saby ist derzeit Sechster (+ 1.25 Min.). Der Gesamtführende Sainz hat bereits 3 Minuten und 25 Sekunden Rückstand, behauptet aber noch seine Führung im Gesamtstand…

Eurosport.de: Der Amerikaner ROBBY GORDON verlor nach Getriebe-Problemen gestern über zwei Stunden. „Wir waren so gut unterwegs und hatten viel Zeit gut gemacht. Bis wir gemerkt haben, dass wir ein massives Problem mit dem Getriebe hatten.“

You may download the TV shows for those that missed it on OLN or Eurosport as they only play it once in the middle of the day (here in the USA). Some induvidual is recording and sharing the Australian Version on the internet. It gets distributed as torrents as the files are rather large.

TorrentBox.com is listing daily Dakar TV shows. They are in English and look 99% the same as OLN’s shows.
